Business Development Manager Supports Rapid Growth in Southern Region

Auburn Hills, MI – February 12, 2013 – Patti Engineering, Inc., a leader in control system integration, today announced the hire of Wayne Hachenberg from Austin, Texas to lead its business development and partnership growth in the southern region. Hachenberg has 30 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, and customer support and service in various vertical markets, including:  oil and gas; water-wastewater; mining and metals; food and beverage; and discrete manufacturing.

Hachenberg’s responsibilities include: securing new business opportunities to bring Patti Engineering’s expertise in developing and implementing value enhancing control systems to new clients; developing the company’s strategic relationships with key automation partners; and expanding services to current clients. Founded in 1991, Michigan based, Patti Engineering, opened its Texas Branch in the spring of 2010.

Prior to joining Patti Engineering, Hachenberg’s past experience includes positions held at various automation companies including Graybar Electric, Phoenix Contact, ALCOA, and Allen-Bradley.

Hachenberg earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Arkansas, and has served as President of both ISA and IEEE Sections. He has lectured multiple times at the American Gas Association (AGA) meetings sponsored by Oklahoma State University and has presented at the International Society of Automation – Technology Showcase.
