Kettering University Honors Sam Hoff
Last week, Kettering University honored Sam Hoff with its Alumni Service Award at its Evening of Distinction and Determination.
“Kettering means so much to me. It’s such a unique school. I want to have a part of helping the school survive and thrive into the future,” Sam said.
Brady Ericson, Class of ’94 and the Emcee for the event, introduced Sam. “At Kettering University, there are countless examples of alumni giving back to the school. Whether it’s their time or financial support, both are vital to the continued success of the university… Sam Hoff serves as a member of the Kettering University Boldly Forward campaign alumni giving subcommittee as well as the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council. Patti Engineering employs co-op students each semester, and Sam frequently visits campus to volunteer as a speaker. It is our honor to present Sam Hoff with the 2021 Alumni Service Award.”
In his acceptance speech, Sam reflected, “I have a lot to be thankful for and this award adds to it. I’m very humbled by it.”
