Patti Engineering to Present Three Technical Seminars at 2019 Siemens Automation Summit

“Benefits of Virtual Commissioning” will be presented by Controls Engineer Connie LeMarbe on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:00 am local time. Starting with a lay of the land – what virtual commissioning means and the different ways to achieve it – the core of this presentation is a demo that shows how virtual commissioning can save substantial downtime.
“Asset Tracking Options: RTLS or RFID?” will be presented by Senior Electrical Engineer L. John Shipley, P.E. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:00 am. Shipley will explain the practical and technical considerations for each technology and discuss several recent applications.
“WinCC OA or Mindsphere: Which Should I Choose?” will be presented by Steve Palmgren, P.E., VP of Sales and Marketing, on Wednesday, June 19 at 3:00 pm local time. There seem to be dozens of options to visualize data in a facility; this session will lay out the factors to consider when choosing how to manage data.
The Siemens Automation Summit is a user-lead conference that brings together hundreds of manufacturing professionals who use Siemens automation technologies. The event features case studies, hands on training, product roadmaps and feedback sessions.
